Raised floor system
The raised floor system is made of aluminium profiles and is installed on balconies to ensure compliance with ADA accessibility standards. It is designed to support the automatic floor flap, creating a continuous, level surface between the interior and exterior areas.
Automatic flap
The metal flap, hinged to the Somec RFS deck or floor, moves automatically in synch with the sliding door. As the door opens, the flap rotates into position, resting on the threshold to create a seamless, level surface aligned with the floor.
