Ms. Navigator of the Seas was upgraded last January during a dry-dock in Freeport (Bahamas) and the new shipwide glazing elements were designed and supplied by Somec on a turn-key basis.

Somec’s work package included new doors, balustrades and partitions for Deck 12 new staterooms, as well as the new panoramic continuous glazing and the automatic doors on the same deck. New exterior windsbreaks have been fitted on deck 13.
Moreover, the glasses of existing fire resistant portholes on decks 2-3 were replaced with new new A0 fire rated panes.
The revitalisation job on ms. Navigator was completed in just 30 days , and will be replicated on ms. Voyager of the Seas next autumn in Singapore.
